Corrections and local knowledge
Anyone can compute a moon phase. Knowing which pullout has a clear southern horizon takes someone who has stood there.
What this site does not know
The conditions engine is arithmetic, and it is as good on a site nobody has visited as on one somebody knows well. The ground detail is the opposite. For most of the places listed here the horizon and access notes are still empty, and they are left empty rather than filled with plausible guesses.
Things that would fill them: which pullouts have a clear horizon and in which direction, where the road surface changes, what closes in winter, where the cell signal ends, whether a gate is locked after dark, and which spots have a light intruding that the maps do not show.
Corrections
Anything on this site that is wrong is worth knowing about, particularly park hours, access rules and road conditions, which change without notice. Sources are listed on the pages that carry factual claims, so it is possible to check the working.
Where it goes
Straight to a person. This site keeps no accounts, sets no cookies, and stores nothing about anyone who visits it, so there is no form here and nothing is logged.
Credit is given for anything used, unless you would rather it was not. Nothing sent is passed to anyone else.
